I turn to the blackened sky
As you kiss all my scars
Leaving nothing but despair
My lifeless face turns to shame
Your smiling face full of promises
Drowning in you, I close my eyes
Imagining a beautiful world
My faithless screams
Hopeless and full of despair
My broken heart
Immortal and scarred
The blackened sky fades to blue
Everything turns to perfection
As I calmly disappear into your arms
Away from the whole world,
Away from all the sorrow.
