Youre sitting in the picture alone
All is silent on the other end of the telephone
Your memory is as clear as yesterday
The sounds, the sights, arent frayed
And you try to forget the melody, the one that brought you to your feet
Youve almost forgotten but suddenly, your emotions caused you to retreat
And the picture does fade
With the suns doubtful rays
So you too are just like the melody
The one that you once sang to me
Yes I am just like the melody
The one that keeps replaying constantly
Of the things I despise
And the things I cant hide
I know that its true
But it was easier when I was with you..
