He sits in the corner
cold and lonely.
In a jacket
covered in badges.
"I fought the war," he yells
"and yet no reward."
I feel bad for him,
when I walk by.
Around his feet,
plastic bags.
For an umbrella,
a stick and shirt.
The veteran,
he sits, he sits
Alone
Veteran
