blue skies
white clouds
all that i can see
will eventually fade

green leaves
red roses
color of nature
make to trick me

as night falls
and stars awake
all colors fade
into eternal blackness

the moon shines
on all of us
smiling from the velvet night
He looks over us

broken toys
twisted minds
all this shit sleeps
when the sun closes her eyes

we dream
we snore
no one's awake
not anymore

we only awake
when He turns on us
He shakes us alive
along with the sun

colors again
everywhere
but they will fade
eventually

good night world
good night to you
we're all broken inside
we thrive with the moon

He brings us hope
us broken beings
He sends his love
but it never reaches me

I'm always hurt
always forgotten
not even He can help us
i'm sinking into a black abyss

knight in shining
where are you
all i have is night
no shining shelter

im unprotected
in disrepair
where are you knight
i need you here

love
hate
pain
it all fades into eternity
