Lost
All alone
A little puppy
Waiting for a home
You were my owner
You were my own
How could you abandon me
To fend for my own
I would have done anything
To keep that home
I did wrong things

I was misbehaved
And untrained

I was the only one

I sat there
And waited
Patiently each day
Fetched you your paper
And found another way
I did everything for you
Gave up
All of my own

Why is this little lost puppy
Still so lost
Why won't you fetch me
Like I did for you so many times
Why won't you save me from the cold
And the starvation
A cuddle monster I was
A little puppy at your feet
So why I am on the outside
While you've still got it all
