Take a Look on the Inside

With all the lies she tells herself everyday
The truth doesn't matter, she won't listen to what you have to
say
Because she's tangled herself in a web full of hate
She wants to leave this place, she doesn't want to wait
She keeps her feelings bottled up inside
Puts a smile on, pretends she's fine
But that sadness inside is starting to build
Her soul is empty and can never be filled
Now she knows nothing will ever be the same
That happy little girl is now filled with pain
She feels so lost and so alone
Her suicide feelings are to be unknown
Sadness is the only emotion that she feels
Happiness to her is just so unreal
Because there's nothing good about her that she sees
She isn't someone that her parents want her to be
So she crawls up on her bed and looks up at the ceiling
Wondering why it's her that has to feel these feelings
What did she ever do to deserve so much pain?
One day her life turned as she watched her happiness go down the drain
Someday you'll face what you don't want to see
Only to find out that girl filled with so much hurt... is me.
