Before Pontius Pilate
They took him in
What is his crime?
Blasphemy!
He claimed He's the son of God!
What should be his punishment?
Death by crucifixion!.
But..I find no fault in him
The crowd cried out
Crucify Him! Crucify Him!

The torture begun...

His beard they pulled while they spat upon him
flagrum was used, that tore his skin

His garment was torn from his bleeding flesh
A crown of thorns, upon his head was meshed

They Mocked and scorned him, Hail! King of the Jews!
What have you to say Now? Satan You lose!

My Master redeemer that Tree that you grew
became your cross, that made us brand new

On a hill call Golgotha they took my Savior,
crucified amongs two thieves, He reigns now forever!

Hours of excruciating pain, cycles of twisting
Joint rending cramps, sacrificial love dicpicting

Heart struggles to pump blood into his tissues
tortured lungs gasp for air, body mangled and abused

He Suffered dehydration, God's only begotton Son
He labored with each breath, Saying Not mines but Thy will be done

The chill of death,He effortlessly submit
Into thy hands, Father, My spirit I commit!

He did it for you, You were on his mind
He's coming again to receive you as his bride!

All Hail King Jesus! The grave could not hold you
Death now lost its sting! Victoriously you rose anew!
