The Lover's Heart

No one ever loved someone so much then when they ate their heart.
Imagine how much you have loved one person and have been loved.
Eating their heart, devouring their love would be something sacred.
All that love runs into you.
As you consume your lover which you have always wanted to do.
You make love to them one last time.
Then you kill them and inspect their body divine.
You then take your knife and begin to carve.
You feel your mouth water as you see the heart for which you now starve.
So with one last slice and one last beat.
You take the heart of your lover, you take their beloved meat.
You now devour it and realize they're in you.
You are the happiest person alive.
There was not a better thing in the world you could do.
Now forever you will be loved.
