Story of a Red Rose

Life is a blossom,
A beautiful rose
Time passes by
And the blossom grows
It flourishes in a moment
But then its life makes change
It rots away, away like me
It losses it’s strength

The petals flow shattered in the wind
This story of a red rose
Slowly coming to an end.
As does my life
If it keeps going this way
Hallow and alone
Upon my floor I lay

Like the tears of heaven
Mine continue falling
Dripping down my cheek
I’m broken down, hardly crawling
Darkness surrounding
Blacker than the night
The darkness filling me
Filling my soul w/ despite

The beautiful rose bleeds
As it is eaten away
As does the pain eats me
The life is drained from my vanes
And I love the feeling
But I don’t know why
I guess just the thought
That like the rose, I’m about to die
