Nice Meeting You

This night is colder than I had anticipated.
This razor is sharper than ever.
The hurt that I feel, however,
Is still because of you.

It’s because of you, that this bitter metal is slicing my skin.
It’s because of you, that I’m staining your cloth with blood.
It’s because of you, that I want my time to come.
It’s because of you, I want to lock myself in my room
And not wake up in the morning.

You have no idea what you do to me
And I don’t think you really care either.
Do you ever ask me how my day went?
Or what I learned at school?

Not that I want to even look at you anymore,
Let alone, talk to you
But it would be nice to know that you cared.

Even if you did suddenly, it wouldn’t matter to me
Because I think this is my last breath.
It was nice meeting you mom,
Sorry for being such an annoyance.
I’ll just leave you alone.
