A Copses Eyes

All the bodies are ready
And the violins await
The grounds quietly meddling
As the machine lowers the crate
"Its sad, so sad" their glances said
While they cried away the time
The viewers they all hung their heads
Still trying to act benign
This man he said a few kind words
While everyone else just prayed
Each single word was undoubtedly terse
As the corpse sunk into the grave
"Lets hope she has a better life
Than the one that she had here
And hopefully the moons soft light
Will remind us shes always near"
Then dirt slowly closed the gap
Between the coffin and the feet
The wilted roses sealed the latch
So the performers could retreat
They went back to that awful stage
With four walls and a door
Only the girl could watch the plays
Because she knew what they were there for
