little green pill

I stare at my girl with the cheshire grin, unaware of my affection,
You see my watching, and smiling uncaring you look deep inside my blank
eyes,
Don’t bother looking for me there, I’ve gone away. So insane my darling
girl,
Compulsive as the stars, delirium colors on your eyes, lending you her hue,
Death’s smile and all the while, I see only you. You look away, faded today
My darling razorbladed, my intentions pure, my heart is yours,
Then I take that little green pill, apathy, emotions jaded.
