The Dialogue of Two Lovers: Outside of Dreams

What have I got outside of dreams?
A life of uncertainty but filled with fate
More times than not, I live in fictional scenes
And you don’t understand my current state
Your plea of choice is simply show yourself
My answer to you, I don’t work well with pressure
So relax, you say, just fucking hurry up
I’m on my way; I’m coming, are we sure?

Just jump off that cliff you square
The waters fine, come on I’m waiting
That’s a far drop baby, so far from here
So use the clouds, go parachuting
You’re such a fantasy come true, you know?
My favorite tale before bed
Mr. Hans Christian, you’ve no clue
Of the first thing about fairytales

I hold it right here
True love with a bite to it
You’ve got me by the neck
I can’t speak up, turn away, or swallow
It’s so exhilarating
I can’t even begin to explain
The way we work
