Why can’t you understand this
Why is it hard to see
You’re making it hard to live
I hate being me!

Why is it that you hate me
What did I do so wrong
This whole time I’ve been trying to please you
Ignoring myself all along!

Why is it that you don’t trust me
What did I do to you
I do everything you ask me
Even if I don’t want too!

Why do we even try
Why try to get along
You think you’re always right
And I’m always wrong!

That’s not the way it goes
That’s not how its suppose to be
You’re enjoying my pain
While I hate being me!
