As i walk through
a long dark tunnel
i see the light
get brighter
the whole time
i inticipated the ending
never knowing
this was just the begining

when you entered
my life
you became
the light
i longed for
the hope
i prayed for

you took
my dark
and depribed
heart
and showed it
the light

you taught me
to love
with no knowledge at all
that you are
the light
in my eyes
