I can't tell you how I feel, it's too hard to say
But I always wonder why it had to turn out this way
I was once so happy, you would never see me sad
Why can't I just live the life I once had?
Many people know what it's like to feel the way I do
But we keep it to ourselves, we don't want anyone to know what we're going
through
And all of that emotion keeps building up inside
So we turn our backs to everyone, runaway and hide
Because they don't understand how we feel
Happiness to us is just so unreal
We feel as if we're no one and we don't deserve to be here
Putting on a smile, pretending we're fine, when they don't know we're living
a life of fear
There's nothing we can do to stop this pain
One day everything changed and we watched our life go down the drain
So all we can do is let this sickness pass
We all know this sadness won't forever last.
