I remove black polish from my nails
Scrub at the skin covered in black ink
Use concealer to hide the scars
Wipe the black lipstick from my lips
Wash the eyeliner from my eyes
And stare at myself in the mirror.
Conforming to society.
I no longer recognize myself
I don’t want to anymore
