as I stood in the hallway feet freezing against the floor,
I looked in front of me and there were two doors.
one black,and one white.
a light shown down,
blinding and bright

I didnt know what was behind the doors.
I was eager to though.
this is like the story of my life;confused, lost and unsure where to go.

I opened the white door and looked inside.
a four walled room, with no place to hide.

on one wall,a mirror hung.
I looked in it and saw when I was young.
I was running and playing,no care at all.
when did all this change?
when did I fall?

I guess I grew up and wanted something more.
I dont really know what happened.
I'll try the next door.

this could be better,or even worse.
at this point who knows?
I take a deep breath.............
here goes.

I walked into the room behind the black door.
I looked in this mirror and could say no more.

my face was flawed.
I was a hideous beast!
what will I do to change this?
what will I do?
what will I do.........................
