Pearls

Give me your pearls
Don’t throw them out to swines that will stamp and urinate of their pretty
whites
Don’t give your strings to those unworthy men,
Who are gnawing on dark bark of our cypress trees.
Shhhh,
We are safe in the canopies.
But no, no,
Don’t look down at their ugly faces.
Pink and fat with their imaginary riches.
Go to sleep alone,
And watch that you don’t fall out of your nest and
Get broken on the ground.
See look!
How stupid and careless some people are,
Living and feeding,
Too much embracing.
But, you, I will protect.
Just, no disappointments,
Don’t ride with the grain.
