I'm too worried to sleep,
Too tired to shout,
You're in my thoughts,
And I can't get you out.
It's too late see you,
Too early to call,
The longer I sit here,
The further I fall.
I'm too down to smile,
Too angry to frown,
There's life all around me,
But I don't hear a sound.
I'm too honest for lies,
Too deceiving for trust,
Too stupid for love,
But too smart for lust.
I'm too weak to resist,
And too tired to fight,
My mind is all twisted,
And my thoughts aren't alright.
I'm too scared to tell you,
Too shy to reveal,
The things that I'm thinking,
The feelings I feel.
I'm too cautious to chance it,
But I wanna explore,
We've got a good friendship,
Can we make it more?
