Lost Lovers

Come love me as you did before,
A lover that you once adored,
Although my flesh was always cold,
And you have grown and now are old,
My feelings stay the same for you,
Through all the years I have been true,
For time means nothing to my kind,
As your beauty stays within my mind.

You gave me hope in days gone by,
Rekindled now before you die,
To meet once more I did intend,
Before this fruitless bitter end,
That would take you far away from me,
Leaving just your shell for me to see,
I offer now a chance of life,
To take you far away from strife.

Allow me now to give my kiss,
So you may live with me in bliss,
Your beauty would return once more,
And we could love just like before,
Remembered now as I stand here,
Permit me love to quell your fear,
The time is short...You must decide,
You’re close to death I now confide.

Please choose before it is too late,
I wish not death to be your fate,
Come live once more within my arms,
To feel once more my errant charms,
But you have gone...That final breath,
I weep now for your useless death,
That leaves me now with many sorrows,
To have eternal life...With no tomorrows.
