Captured Soul

Emptiness in swirling clouds,
Yet only one can see,
See their pain and feel their cold,
And see their dieing frozen dreams.

Watching with her eyes so far away,
Yet she cries their every tear,
And what she’ll see is these lost souls,
Are who she is, her one true fear.

And she too calls this whirlpool home,
She’s right with them in their long lost dreams,
For she knows her heart is dead as theirs,
And nothing in this world is as it seems.

And all these people who cannot see,
Singing and dancing wouldn’t know where to start,
If they knew of this girl who knows so much more,
With no soul and no smile for they’ve stolen her heart.
