Hello world
It's me again
I have no knife, no gun
just my smiling face
just my laugh, just my satisfaction
I'm having a difficult time
like everyone else
but suicidal attempts,
or a slit in the rist
aren't no options
they won't make things better
so turn that frown upside down!
Eat an icecream!
Whatch a chick flick!
Take a bubbly bath!
and love yourself
cuz if you don't love yourself
do you expect others to love you?
Do you enjoy constant pity
and negitive attention?
and say you were at a dance
would you sit
and cry
and cry
and cry
enduring humiliation
in return for...
nothing?
Or say a friend was in need.
Would you push aside
your problems?
For that buddy?
Or would you bluntly reply,
"look,
It's me we're focusing on.",?
And now take a moment to answer
is the glass
half full or half empty
and for those of you
who don't
understand a word I'm saying
laugh at this poem
go ahead and think I'm strange
and phony
and I don't make sence.
At least you'll be laughing,
smiling,
and enjoying yourself.
and of course that's
what i's all about:)
