You Could Always Try (...and fail)

Life is not always fair.
You cannot always care.
If you like, you could always try.
But for the pain, I'd never dare.

You can search, but you'd never find.
True feelings of a different kind.
If you like, you could always try.
But it'd be a waste of time if you can't control your mind.

Life is not what it seems.
It is unreal and filled with dreams.
If you like, you could always try,
To figure out, your life. Redeem!

But when your life has gotten stale.
You can change, and make it unfrial.
If you like, you could always try.
But what's the point if you know you'll fail?
