Preparing for the scream
The mind that freezes instantly
In hopes that it's a dream

The eyes that widen twice their size
The hair that stands on end
The pulse that races rapidly
The knees that start to bend

The palms that sweat relentlessly
The face that turns to white
The fear that lives in all of us
That quickly turns to fright
