a son and a mother sit alone in a room
thinking back on past memories were there was something they once knew
they small boy just sits there in his mothers warm embrace
he's holding her tightly not wating her to ever go away
tears roll down his soft smooth face
but the mother just sit there and gently wipes them away
the mother says "don't worry everything will be okay.
you'll see him again somewhere someway"
the boy was confused but said he understand
he just held his mother tighter fighting the tears he couldn't hold back
his daddy was gone now that was all that he knew
did he not want him anymore what did he do?
mommy said he died from a bad man thats all she could say
she broke down crying wondering why it all had to end this way
the little boy knew that he was never coming back
but he waited for something to fill that empty gap
