I beheld you on our last night on Earth,
My heart filled with love,
We held hands, and I talked to you in the most intimate way
You looked into my eyes. it was my greatest day,
In the comfort under the stars,
I knew the denziens of heaven were watching
This night could not end, I did not want it to
We stood up to walk around, from that hallowed ground,
I grabbed your hand in the firmest way,
We walked along the dark streets,
In the greatest of passion she said, " I would follow you to the ends of the
earth"
The rain started to fall, could she feel the sorrow?
We continued on in our pilgrimage of hope,
The night getting darker, shadows lengthening,
There was Hope in our deispair,
Her unrivaled beauty, such eloquence in Her being,
I went as to pick the most beautiful star, in so hoping to make her a
necklace of light,
She took my hand, and said "your love is all I will ever need"
My hand came down and found hers, ever walking into the silent dark.
