You know the feeling
When the buzz
Rises and spreads
When your eyes
Dart around
And nothing looks right
But you swear you are
Sober
Then the evil laugh
Echo’s in your head
Realizing you need more
To sustain the moment of happiness
You continue
Drinking
Shooting
Snorting
Smoking
Until there is no more
The music feeds the mood
And hate moves in
Violence overcomes you
And hate grows
Then it hits
There is nothing left to do
So you slowly fade
With each passing minute
Until you black out
Finally at rest
Only to awake
And begin
Again
