Sweet Sugary Scarlet

She stammers into her bathroom
Her body hot and drenched of sweat
Soaked in his anguish
But at the same time
Her appetence
She’s tired of suffering
Suffering from someone else’s loss
Non that she caused
But what he caused her

He mislead her many times
Provoking and seducing
She was restrained to his level
And now she’s breaking through
She’s pulling free of this confinement

She brings out the key
The key to the love of hell
The key to freedom
The key to everything

She puts the key to the lock
And severed the hole
She drops the key
And her sweet crimson drips into the cracks of her floor
Seeps through and stains

There goes her pain
There go her sacrifices
And this burden has been lifted
Lifted and disintegrated
Now she has no more problems

She’s agaped…
Where did the key go?
She needs to lock the door
The doorway to hell
No
Never back there again
She’s perplexed
The key was swallowed into the lock
The lock of hell

Hell wants her back
And he’ll do anything to do so
She walks away
Forgets about everything

Weeks pass without any interruption
Until hell gets thirsty
She hears it
But there’s no more key
She’s vulnerable on the other side of the door
And hell once again is calling for his sweet sugary scarlet
