The darkness settles in now
From the abyss it comes forth
As a moving shadow
Over the eyes of the young

Sitting still now you look towards the darkness
You begin to wonder
As it moves across your face you begin to perspire
Leaving a coldness over you hot body

It starts to move more agile now
You face starts to portray that of a scared human
You are now wrapped in this darkness

With no way out
You begin to explore it
It does not show hospitality to your presence
Yet it also does not show aggression
This brings you to believe it is a harmless being

Yet what you did not know until it was too late
As the darkness holds on tight
Is that it will never leave you
You squirm
The darkness takes a harder grip onto your almost bursting flesh

The darkness consumes you
And you float on
In to the abyss you fall
