The Light Has Left...

Golden-red beams emerge in the sky,
The twinkle of sun appears in your eyes,
Excited smiles are worn on your face:
The tears of respect for this secret place.

The light has left; we are now here alone,
Arms wrapped around me, your love is shown,
With you at my side, there is nothing to fear,
Hugging you, Kissing you, Holding you dear.

We stand here together, cold and unfed,
But the walls of our love protect us from debt,
The blessings you give me are hidden from sight,
For I am blinded by your radiant light.

My life has been changing in numerous ways,
Happiness and joy are here to stay,
The causes for sadness and rage seem to leave,
"Together Forever," in this I believe.

The light has left; we are now here alone,
Arms wrapped around me, your love is shown,
With you at my side, there is nothing to fear,
Hugging you, Kissing you, Holding you dear.
