Goodbye, oh what a word,
A void masked with disease,
A tear disguised by those goodbyes,
Though no-one ever leaves.
Goodbye they say, I won’t forget,
Then how can goodbyes be goodbyes?
You’ll always be in my heart they believe,
And they’re right for nobody ever dies.
But a deep amend indeed be needed,
Of this evil spurious word,
But the word of forever, no matter what,
Goodbye kills with lies, forever unheard.
Goodbye, oh what a word,
But a word is what exists,
For the meaning none, burn all seven away,
Each and every letter away in the mists.
So to goodbye, do say goodbye,
For there is no more need to cry,
And however much those memories may try,
There’s not a single one will ever die.
Ok i'm getting really annoyed at people quickly skim-reading the poem
then complaining they don't understand it.... the best poems out there
have hidden meanings... take time to read this properly and you would see
what it means..... but for those of you that cant be bothered it means you
should never say goodbye to anybody (mainly refering to loved ones) because
will they truly ever leave your heart? sorry for being moody, just annoyed
at people spending no time reading it then saying they dont understand.....
