“A Night of Boozing”
Lay me down
gentle with my broken body
violent motion could jar my head loose
mind dripping out of my ears

in your room on your floor
soft carpet on my skin
oh let me apologize my dear my love
for the blood that is seeping from my wounds
I didn’t want to ruin your floor
these things happen more than they ought to
but it cant be helped oh no

repeat the generic sympathies
oh yeah they don’t care what happened
just searching for a temporary solution
solution to dissolve all our woes

careful with my tattered skin
oh yeah don’t let me contaminate
don’t let me slip away away
just lay my body down
please be easy with my head
too much to drink and I’m confused
don’t know where I’m going with this rant
but be gentle with me
until I fall asleep

please don’t let me shiver
oh lend me a piece of your warmth
while my paranoia dies
and subsides
