Clouds roll in, covering the night sky
Mist spreads over the cool ground
The darkness drops a blanket on the air
while a sullen wind mutes all sound

This began in my mind
This lonely night
I'm taken there, time to time
Waiting for things to turn right

One night a break in the clouds began
Moonlight shines through
And I look up, and there you stand
Making me realize my love for you

We dance in this Moonlight Sonata
As the mist rolls away
I can hear the music, I can hear your voice
and the sun comes up and brings a new day

She is my new dawn
