When I first saw you, I wanted to know you.
When you first looked into my eyes,
I felt like I knew you.
When we talked, I wanted to love you.
All the times I was alone, you were with me.
Whether on the phone or just in my mind.
When I first hugged you, I never wanted to let go.
When we first kissed, I knew that I loved you.
When you called me beautiful,
I didnt want that moment to ever end.
The way you were looking at me;
It was a look that didn't need words
To tell me what you were thinking.
When you first really told me that you loved me,
I stayed up all night thinking of you.
I thought of the way you were looking
At me when you told me.
I thought of the way you were holding me.
That night, I realized,
That everyone before you was fake.
And I knew that there was no way,
Like all the others before,
That you could ever be just another wasted love.
