Another day has passed
but I still can't help but miss you.
I think about you all the time
and I can still see your smile.
I remember the last day you were alive
and we were together
and I remember the last words
you said to me that day.
Sometiems the pain is so much
I can hardly bear it
but I just close my eyes
and see your face
and then I have hope.
Whenever I imagine your beautiful smile
it puts my heart at ease
and I fall asleep
imagining you holing me tight.
I talk to you all the time
and I know that you hear evry word
and in your own special way
I know that you are saying you love me too.
Sometimes I wish I could forget you
but right now I'm so glad that I can't.
If I closed my eyes and couldn't
see your face,
my world would be shattered,
more than it already is.
It's so hard to live these days
here without you.
You mean so much to me
and the fact that you aren't here
makes it hard for me to go on.
