The Devil's Angel

The devils own
His angel
With a halo made of thorns
Wings tattered and bloody
Through the depths of Hell she soars
She has made a home of this place
So many fear to tread
Like many, she wished to go to heaven
But at last
Was sent to Hell instead
She wasn’t always here
For she went to heaven first
But was cast down to Hell
For her wings were not perfect
And her halo a little bent
So from those famous gates
To raging fire she was sent
To burn forever in a place
You couldn’t picture even in dreams
Where the sound of crackling fire
Is drowned out by all the screams
So the devils little angel
Above the flames so high
Will be soaring here forever
Against a blood red, fiery sky.
