Cold rushes over me
A chill runs up my spine
Ice cold blood through my veins
I feel frozen
Deadly cold.

You come to me
Warm me up
The blood in my veins thaws
I'm now tingling from your warmth
I feel safe from the snow storm.

When you are near
It's as if I'm cuddled
With the most important person
In my life
Next to an open fire and I'm happy.

But the thoughts won't leave my mind
Are you too good for me
Too good to be true
I can't deserve you.

But you havn't let me down
I shouldn't worry
You say you'll always be there
can't I trust you
I want to so much.

But how well do I know you
We just met
You're still a stranger
But I feel as if we've known
Each other so long.

I want the warmth to stay
The comfort
Don't let me down
Stay with me
Keep me safe.

Let my fears be wrong
My assumptions be forgotten
Help me believe the storm is passing
Stay here with me and keep my fears covered with your goodness.
