Cherry Blossom

She’s so alone in this world
Dipping her feet into the cool blue pond
Sitting under the cherry blossom tree
With white satin ribbons in her golden hair
Crying
Watching the tears splash into the water
Wishing for a different life
One she reads about in all her favorite novels
The prefect parents who encourage her for everything
Friends who are always there for her
That prefect guy
A life where she can dream up her reality
When it’s dark and cold
There’s always a warm fire to sit by
Where her prince charming can kiss away all her tears
Hold her tight
Her friends love her for her
Her parents love her with all they can
Help her out when times get bad
The pink petals of the tree fall all around her
Like pink snow, light and soft
She turns around to see who’s behind her
And finds
All her friends
Her loving parents
And that prefect guy smiling at her
Her dreams came true
