Out My Window

Looking out my window
do you see what I see?
There is a tall white flag pole infront of me
A sea of green behind the pole
All different shades, off of different trees
The leaves are all shaking along with the breeze
A sky so grey it is barely there
No clouds to be seen in it anywhere
The haze try's to come in and take me
But the panes of glass are strong
The wind try's to enter, but it's journey is hard and long
There is a little white trailer on top of the mountain
I dont know why it's there
Maybe someone left it there, and didnt seem to care
The white window frame is holding me in
or is it holding me out?
But it's keeping me somewhere without a doubt
Looking out my window
Do you see what I see?
A green so different on that certain tree
Maybe that one is special
But it is not I who knows
the color so bright it is just how it grows
Out my window there is so much to see
I am locked in here, but out is where I am meant to be.
