I love this guy with all my heart,
But today he left for a new world,
Again we are so far apart.
There's these wars appearing left and right,
I just saw you today,
But now you're out of my sight.
You just came home from the doomed Iraq,
Now you were called to help in another war,
I really hope that you come back.
So many have died by the cruel hands of this world,
Some got to talk to their loved ones,
Others didn't get to say one word.
I pray to God that the same thing doesn't happen to you,
If something did happen,
I have no clue what I would do.
So I didn't cry when you were here,
Just gave you a hug,
So happy I knew at that one moment you were near.
I'm not sure what will happen in Liberia,
But don't worry, God will watch over ya'.
