I see the way you look at me
The way your eyes just smile
I hope one day we will be
But that may not be for a while.
I really care about you so much
And I hope you feel the same way
I know you don't want things to be rushed
But I hope soon will be the day.
I'm so happy when you're around
Whenever I'm having a bad day
Or just really down
I talk to you & everything seems to be okay.
Really though, so much can happen
Before you're really mine
Why can't you realize
There's not all that much time.
I sometimes wonder to myself
If I wait to long
Will I still be here?
Or will something else go wrong?
