Expectations

My expectations are high
But they will soon start to die
I can’t do everything I used to be able to do
I don’t succeed in anything I do
You learn from your mistakes
Is what many people have said
I did not learn that earlier in life
That’s what I dread
But my expectations shall grow
For I am now strong
And I’ve learned many things
I have done were wrong
Now I am so brave
I am now soaring
I will now try or do anything
I’m not the least bit boring!
