I fall back onto my pillows
to where you lie beside me.
The moon outside is frozen cold
yet while I shake I hold thee.

Today is different:
my door is locked
my curtains down
the light is off,
yet I need not to make a sound or
break any law against you,
for everytime I hold your hand
I know it's time to stop dreaming,
and everytime I hear your heart my eyes
will halt their crying.

It's crazy how insane I seem
in the arms of none but myself.
Before I had no welfare, Lord,
no trust, no mind, no wealth.

I could lie asleep alone and slumber
with plenty of room in my bed.
But even with such serene comfort
thoughts of you play over and over in my head.

You make me feel so beautiful,
it makes me feel better about everything.
I could be a mess in everyway
yet I'm sure you'd still accept me.

I cry when you're away forever,
I'm freer than anything when we're together.
I think about you when we're not...

I love holding your hands.
For once I feel safe, and that's because your arms are around me.
And your breath on the back of my neck...
Let's make this everlasting.

I can tell when we kiss
that everything is Ok.
Nothing is a threat to us.
Nothing can take this away.

I lie down with you;
I can't tell if I'm breathing or not.
But even if I'm not, it wouldn't matter
'cuz if I were to die
I know our souls would be together.

You always look at me so tenderly...
I've never been looked at that way before.
You actually care about "How I am"
and it feels so amazing.

Now I'm so close to you: It's like we're one.
I can feel your heart beating and mine.
They don't beat in unison, they beat one after the other.
It's almost like they're singing to eachother.

You hold me everytime I can't hold
back my tears.
I can hear you speak to me again.
You tell me that everything is Ok...
...and...I believe you...

I wanna' sleep next to you everynight,
and as I fall asleep I can't wait to see you in my dreams.
Sometimes sleeping seems forever...
...too bad life isn't that way
'cuz if it was, I'd spend
"forever"
with you.

With this...I prove to you,
that you are everything to me.
I hope you'll feel it when I embrace you.
Even the moon and all of the stars in Heaven could never make me smile like
this...
and I can't wait to see you again.

I'm not scared to say, "Good night" anymore
because on my mind you always are.
So love, ascend my heart to Heaven
and remember that my love for you isn't paper thin...

...it's deeper than the deepest ocean...
