The Lord is near me
He is here to hear me
Not to cause me pain or fear
But for me to worship Him until the ending years.
I love Him with all my heart
Hopefully Him and I never do part.
He teaches me love
And not to hate
To me, that is great!
Before I use to be blinded by the guidance of my peers
Doing things that I shouldn't
And badly effecting my future years.
Until that night I went to church
I opened my heart to the Lord
And as the preacher preached to us
In my heart for faith I searched
And I will always remember that special prayer
When the Holy Spirit cleansed my body from sin
And forever my love will be for The Lord
And I'll be blessed throughout life
Until the very end!
