Is it to much to ask for wings so I may soar?
to a land of heavenly bliss, or through a golden door.

I'll need wings that are lightweight but extremely strong,
to conquer the winds of distant furlong.

Make them wide enough to shelter the sun,
covering one who's beaten, batter and broken.

I am not to impress whether they are silver or gold,
just make them thermal-threaded resistent to cold.

Ever unfolding, like Angel radiant wings,
thread some loving kindness, like a dear mother brings.

Ever unfailing, like the sea that beats the shore
stitch some tender, loving care that grows forevermore.

Intwine a little laughter, even some tears,
spacious enought to hold all my cares.

Etch in the corner a message of love,
"specially for you" signed God from above.
