I Had Left the Line Open

I sat home alone lastnight
And now you ask me why im crying
A waited under my covers
Secretly dressed and ready to go
I waited untill eleven ten
And watch the night fly past me
No ring on my phone
I had left the line open.

I look back on the past two years
Every night the same
With the line always open
I look back on the past two years
And look into the next two years
Every night the same
My line will always be open.

Secretly I will be waiting under my covers
Hiding my loneliness
Everyday I'll be waiting
Waiting,
Waiting,
No time to wait any longer
Two years turned into six
Six years turned into death.

And I spent my whole life waiting
With the line open
All dressed and ready to go.
