My celloist and His orchestra

Watching the white lace curtains dance in autumn's gentle wind
I sighed and sat upon the empty bed
A cello ballad composed itself inside my mind
The celloist memorized every note that was read

God himself must've been paying close attention
As I lay there His orchestra was heard in the breeze
Playing together, a sweet sounding symphony
I witnessed His angels fall to their knees

It was a sound I knew i'd never forget
That afternoon when I felt so alone
God spoke through the music a prayer that was needed
To know I was welcome in His home
