The mockingbird cries in the willow tree
as the leaves fall to the ground
It sings a song of sadness and pain
in a sorrowfull but beautiful sound
It's loved ones pass and friends go by
thoughts drift like the fluffy clouds
in the tear filled sky
The sky that cries in pain from human kind
damage is done and it fears for life but people are blind
The bird dreams of summerswith bees and flowers and other friend brirds
near
But fall sweeps through and there's no one left to feel for the bird left
here
It sings a song of devestation and frustration
for all who care to listen
Its only escape is to sing its emotions away
during day and night when stars glisten
that porr mockingbird who sings with the sun and the moon
all day long in sings its sorrowfull but beautiful song
