people are bombarded with ads
flanked by television
forced into the mainstream
cut and pasted into false reality
minds confused by existence
and twisted beyond the past's reach
rarely have i met
men or women who read books
instead of follow their inhibitor
it is not immorality
it has become more than merely that
the world has caved in
time and space that affect souls
prevent them from living
a feeling has spread over many
of discontent, alert passion
another of indifference and stoicism
will the nations and the people
of the world ever notice
what they are causing to happen

the stone age was better off than we are.
